Anyway! This is Hotaru from :iconsalison: 's comic Hotarugari.

Colored with... MAKEUP! (no joke!) This was a lot of fun, actually!

SUPPLIES:
Inks - Sakura Micron 0.8
Applicators - Sponge-tipped applicators
Colors - CARGO blu-ray pressed powder in 20, Wet N Wild Bronzer in Princess, and Coastal Scents' 88 Color Palette.

This is SO adorable! I love the way you drew him! Especially his eyes and hair, so cute. Looooove it!! And it’s colored with makeup?! OMG, THAT IS SO COOL! It gives such a wonderful sheen and texture to the colors! So creative, too. And thanks again for using my characters for your first contest. So happy about it! :love:

Yay! No problem! I actually thought that I drew the hair too big and fluffy ;P But if you like it then YAY! Coloring with makeup was fun!!! :D It kind of makes it look like... it was done digitally (I can't explain). It's so smooth, I mean. [though it was a huge mess ;D]

Yeah, someone in one of my FB groups asked what the strangest medium you've used to do art and she said makeup; and I always wanted to try it. So when I did this drawing I was very tempted...so I whipped out some old palettes and taa daa!

Hey, it seemed to work! The strangest thing I've ever used... hmmm... my nails! :XD: I discovered that I have this one nail polish that can scrape off the nail onto a piece of paper, so I tried to draw a picture with the back of my nail. It didn't work very well but it was really fun! :XD:

That sounds very interesting. Oh! I forgot to say! Unsharpened pencils! Examples: the regular yellow pencils? When they're not sharpened you can draw/write with the yellow. ^_^; Not a lot, but you still can :D
